Digital Exams for Schools
It's the sector's most contentious issue.
Delivering high-stakes, summative exams on-screen in schools remains controversial: riddled with myths and mis-understandings.
UK schools have delivered on-screen exams from owners such as the International Baccalaureate, ABRSM, LIBF, Learning Machine, and others for many years. The use of digital in formative and diagnostic assessment to enable familarity and insight is common.
On-screen entrance exams for schools, law, medical, university admission have been common place for 20+ years. School qualifications using e-portfolio and controlled on-screen assessment such as Cambridge Nationals are well known.
